Devrinol 2-E, a selective pre-emergence herbicide used for effective weed control.
Key Features and Usage
- Active Ingredient: Contains napropamide (typically 21.8% w/w).
- Mechanism: It works by inhibiting root development and seedling growth, preventing weeds from establishing. It is often described as an “acetamide” group herbicide that prevents shoot cell division.
- Target Weeds: Specifically designed to control annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds, such as Rumput Kerbau, Sambau, Padi Burung, and Rusiga.
- Application: It should be applied pre-emergence (before weeds germinate). For certain applications, a common dilution rate mentioned is 250ml per 10 liters of water.
- Compatibility: It can be mixed with post-emergence herbicides like Glufosinate Ammonium to control both existing and future weed growth in orchards or fields.
