Vertimec 8SC is a type of insecticide that contains an active ingredient from the “avermectin” group that acts by contact and stomach poisoning. Controls sucking and chewing insect pests.

Usage Rules:
- Spraying of pesticides is done according to the stage of plant growth, plant density and level of insect infestation.
Mixing Guide:
It is recommended to use a “hollow cone” type nozzle bearing sprayer. Fill the tank half full with clean water. Mix thoroughly according to the recommendations set out in the dosing table and mix. Then add the remaining clean water required and stir. Do not use at a rate higher than recommended. Do not store the remaining mixture in the sprayer tank.
Spraying Guide:
Apply when infestation reaches action threshold level (ATL). For good control, spray thoroughly on both upper and lower leaf surfaces. If necessary, repeat spray at 7-day intervals when infestation persists. Do not spray more than 2 times per season. If treatment needs to be repeated, alternate with insecticides from different groups with different modes of action.
